What is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist?

A pelvic health physical therapist is a physical therapist who has received specific training in the management and treatment of all genders who have pelvic floor dysfunction.  Pelvic floor dysfunction can by a single or a group of conditions caused by weakness or dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscle group.  Those conditions can include, but are not limited to the following: Urinary incontinence, constipation, sexual pain (dyspareunia, Vaginismus, etc.), sexual dysfunction (premature ejaculation, anorgasmia, erectile dysfunction, etc.), chronic pelvic pain, etc.  Want to learn more?
